Influence of adhesive (1) The aluminum honeycomb panel produced by the reaction curing adhesive of polyurethane and epoxy resin has the characteristics of simple process and low energy consumption. Polyurethane adhesives are characterized by flexibility and temperature resistance, but are sensitive to moisture and have high environmental requirements; epoxy resin adhesives are characterized by good adhesion to aluminum, high temperature resistance, and little impact on moisture. The disadvantage is that the film is brittle and the peel strength is not high. (2) The bonding strength of the aluminum honeycomb panels produced by the epoxy film process is low. The 180° peel strength of the aluminum honeycomb panel with a honeycomb core side length of 4mm, a panel thickness of 1mm and a total thickness of 10mm is about 4n/mm. However, its adhesive properties are good, and the peel strength decreases very little after one year of use. The disadvantage is that the bonding layer of the aluminum honeycomb panel is brittle, and the long-term vibration of the aluminum honeycomb panel will delaminate. (3) The bonding strength of the aluminum honeycomb panels produced by the thermoplastic film continuous composite process is 3-5 times that of the aluminum honeycomb panels produced by the first two processes. For an aluminum honeycomb panel with a regular hexagonal honeycomb core with a side length of 4mm, a plate thickness of 1mm and a total thickness of 10mm, the measured 180° peel strength is about 18n/mm. Has good adhesion and weather resistance, with little drop in peel strength after one year of use. ---- Ceiling manufacturers
Due to continuous production, high efficiency can meet the requirements of short-term high-volume supply. The disadvantage of this process is that the flat continuous thermal laminating machine is expensive and the investment is huge. Thermoplastic film is a special kind of hot melt adhesive film. The adhesive film itself must have high cohesive strength and tensile strength to ensure the firm bonding of aluminum honeycomb panels. If a general hot melt adhesive film is used, its adhesive strength is very low, and the 180° peel strength value is only 3n/mm. Influence of the production process Hot presses are used to produce aluminum honeycomb panels. Because the pressure of the heat press is high and difficult to control, buffer blocks are often placed to prevent the aluminum honeycomb core from collapsing. If the bumper is high, it will affect the pressure applied, resulting in low bond strength. For example, if you use a flat thermal laminator, you can control the pressure applied by adjusting the height, as the pressure is provided by the elastic force. Therefore, the bonding strength of the aluminum honeycomb panels produced by this process is high and stable. Influence of Surface Condition Oil, dirt and naturally formed loose oxide layer on the aluminum surface can seriously affect the bonding effect of aluminum honeycomb panels and must be cleaned and pretreated. The aluminum surface can be treated with phosphating or chromating to form a dense chemical conversion film on the aluminum surface, and the treated aluminum has a good bonding effect. -----Aluminum ceiling manufacturers
